The RegistryClever virus pretends to offer “Smart registry repair,” but as you’ve probably figured out by now, this software provides no useful services and is actually a pretty serious security threat. Spread along with other badware pests like IronDefender and SafetyGuard, Registry Clever makes a big show of supposedly fixing DLL and file-association issues, but it’s actually just trying to earn your trust so you’ll pay up for the fake full version.
Not sure what the deal is with the Rubik’s cube logo in the upper-left corner of those RegistryClever pop-ups, but hey, at least it sets this badware apart and makes it easy to identify at a glance.
If you let this thing stick around too long, nothing good is gonna come out of it. Let me show you how to get rid of RegistryClever for free.
